About the Role & Team
The Risk and Trading Team is responsible for all Sports Betting products, prices, risk management, Boosts, Specials, Promotions 24/7, Player Props in a fast-paced North American facing operator.You will be part of the team looking after the above duties as the global Sports calendar requires.
We are currently looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified team players. This role requires a highly professional, organized, and enthusiastic individual who is data driven, is obsessed by sports and sports betting and willing to push the boundaries to continuously improve the product.
This role is not for narrow risk management, this role is for taking risk management on the full 360 of the Sportsbook product, performance, promotion, presentation, and pricing. If you want to put the fan and the fan experience at the centre of the Sportsbook read on.

- 24/7 monitoring of all bets and prices across all sports within KPI’s and company goals, focusing on bet flow and reacting to industry movements. - Identify relevant bets and recognize betting patterns that deviate from expected behavior. - Monitor market liabilities in real time and quickly grade markets for efficient cashflow. - Work with trading teams to deliver a profitable, competitive product for sporting events. - Communicate with customer-facing teams to support patron satisfaction and escalate issues. - Use internal tools to assess individual bet and patron value, increasing trading hold %. - Ensure trading products and processes remain fully compliant. - Adapt to changes in providers, processes, and market trends. - Daily reporting to Key Stakeholders, creating reports using SQL, Python, Looker, Mode, and Tableau. - Monitor and report on customer lifetime profitability. - Test in-house trading tools and daily-use features, recommending and guiding new features. - Monitor multi-accounting and syndicate activity through retrospective pattern analysis. - Utilize customer risk data and internal tooling to prioritize and triage accounts for review. - Contribute to scalable customer risk frameworks for efficient and commercially driven decision-making. - Report on the commercial impact of customer risk decisions, including GGR uplift and trends in sharp customer volumes. - Be sports-obsessed with strong, well-rounded sports betting knowledge and genuine interest in betting and odds. - Possess strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities. - Minimum 1+ years of experience in a trading environment (preferred). - Hold a Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences. - Be able to multitask, perform effectively under pressure, and make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. - Demonstrate high attention to detail, precision, and excellent time-management skills. - Be able to learn quickly, operate independently, and collaborate within a team. - Quickly adopt and adapt to new technology with strong initiative and exceptional work ethic. - Able to work remotely and work regular evenings, weekends, and public holidays with fully flexible schedules.
