Playnetic is an innovative and fast-growing iGaming company seeking a Junior Game Developer to join their team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and improving client-side game features for casino games, contributing to a transition towards modern PIXI.js and TypeScript architecture. You will support new feature implementation, bug fixes, and performance improvements while collaborating with experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Experience or strong interest in game development, software engineering, or front-end development
- Knowledge of at least one of the following: Java, TypeScript / JavaScript, PIXI.js or similar game/rendering frameworks
- Willingness to learn and work across different technologies
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals and problem-solving
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for games, technology, and continuous learning
- Bonus: Experience developing HTML5 or browser-based games
- Bonus: Familiarity with PIXI.js, Phaser, or similar game engines/frameworks
- Bonus: Exposure to casino games or slot development
- Bonus: Understanding of animations, rendering, or game performance optimisation
- Bonus: Experience working on personal, academic, or commercial game projects
- Bonus: Experience in fast-paced or agile development environments
