Playnetic is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to establish and lead the DevOps function for their B2B platform. This greenfield role involves designing, building, and owning the DevOps strategy, working closely with engineering teams and reporting to the CTO. The position offers significant technical ownership and leadership, influencing architecture, tooling, and operational practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and infrastructure engineering within production environments
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, containerised workloads, and cloud-native architectures
- Solid experience with AWS and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
- Proven ability to design and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines
- Experience supporting always-on, business-critical systems
- A pragmatic, problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation and reliability
- Confidence working closely with engineers and senior technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or leading engineers, formally or informally
- Motivation to build DevOps capabilities from scratch and improve them over time
- Bonus: Experience working in iGaming, fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, or other online platform-based businesses
- Bonus: Experience building DevOps environments from scratch, scaling teams, or working in regulated environments
