As a Software Development Engineer in Test II at PlayStation, you will join a global initiative to build innovative test automation and CI/CD systems. You will be responsible for reviewing product requirements, designing effective testing strategies, and building and maintaining test automation frameworks for PlayStation's Mobile App. This role involves working with developers and product owners to ensure comprehensive automated test coverage and assisting with production deployments.
Requirements
- Minimum BS degree in CS or a related field, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge
- Experience in building and executing test plans and test cases
- Experience writing automated tests in Python, Java Script or any other Programming Language
- Understanding of automation test framework like pytest
- Experience in setting or configuring up test pipelines as part of Continuous Integration(CI), Jenkins preferred
- Practical experience using development and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, Appium
- Experience with test case management systems & JIRA, QTest/QMetry systems
- Ability to estimate effort and size of features
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. comfortable with cross functional collaboration
