As a Senior Software Engineer - Kernel Security, you will build, develop, and maintain kernel security features for PlayStation systems. This role involves collaborating with multi-functional teams, debugging complex security issues, and monitoring threats. You will also assist with open-source projects and maintain code quality through meticulous testing and code reviews.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C programming languages, C++ is a plus.
- Experience with kernel development, FreeBSD knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge in kernel security concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
- Excellent debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work autonomously and within a cooperative group.
- Advanced knowledge of operating systems and low-level programming.
- Experience contributing to widely recognized open-source projects.
- Effective communication abilities and the capability to clearly explain intricate technical ideas.
- A strong passion for gaming and knowledge of the gaming industry.
