Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve the application framework powering PlayStation console user experiences. This role involves designing and implementing frameworks, optimizing performance, and ensuring code quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience designing and implementing application frameworks.
- Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience working with C/C++/C#, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Git, SVN, Jenkins and automation tools.
- Performing application framework optimization and technical specification development.
- Debugging and profiling using automation tools.
- Performing codebase maintenance.
- Providing CI/CD support and performance optimization.
- Identifying bottlenecks in the build pipeline and proposing solutions to reduce turnaround time.
- Leveraging automation tools to integrate deliverables with the company proprietary system.
- Implementing automated jobs to improve developer efficiency.
- Maintaining and ensuring the quality of the code base and implement testable code.
