About this job

As a Technical Animator, you will act as a key bridge between the animation, design, and programming teams. You will contribute to the development, integration, and optimization of gameplay animation systems, defining and improving animation pipelines, and developing tools to enhance production workflows. The role ensures high visual quality while respecting real-time performance objectives and technical constraints.

Requirements

- More than 5 years' experience as a Technical Animator or similar role in a AAA studio - Mastery of animation software (Maya, MotionBuilder, Blender, etc.) - Good knowledge of animation systems in modern engines (Unreal Engine, Unity or proprietary engines) - Good understanding of animation principles and gameplay systems - Analytical mind and sense of problem solving, capable of making the link between creativity and technical constraints - Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills - Knowledge of MEL, Python, C++ or C#, an asset.
