Join Riot Games' EMEA Communications team as a Public Relations Strategist to coordinate and execute PR strategies for League of Legends and LoL Esports across a diverse media landscape, building trust and creating meaningful player moments.

In EMEA, the League of Legends Regional Communications team brings those stories to life across a diverse media landscape, working closely with global teams, regional stakeholders, local markets, and agency partners.
As an EMEA Public Relations Strategist, you will work under the supervision of the EMEA Communications Strategists to support the coordination and execution of PR strategies and tactics for League of Legends across EMEA, with a particular focus on LoL Esports. Your scope will span both Tier 1 and Tier 2 ecosystems and their key moments throughout the year.
Working closely with the EMEA League of Legends team, you will help translate communications strategies into high-quality, coordinated PR activations that resonate with media and players across the region.
Beyond esports, you will also support the EMEA Communications team across the broader League of Legends ecosystem. This includes day-to-day press office operations, pan-EMEA outreach around major League of Legends IP beats, media targeting and pitching, press materials and copywriting, spokesperson preparation, and communications reporting.
The role is designed for a communications professional who combines strong executional skills with excellent knowledge of the media landscape, and is comfortable operating at the center of a fast-moving regional press operation.
This will be a 12 month contract role and is based in Berlin, Germany, and requires the candidate to be located in Berlin, this role is expected to commence in January 2027.

- Coordinate and execute PR plans for League of Legends and LoL Esports across EMEA. - Translate communications strategies into effective regional PR execution. - Drive media outreach, including proactive pitching and inbound press requests. - Support day-to-day press office operations, newsroom coordination, and news distribution. - Build and maintain strong relationships with esports, gaming, and endemic media across EMEA. - Draft and adapt high-quality communications materials like press releases and pitches. - Coordinate press operations at Riot Games Arena in Berlin. - Track PR activity and results, providing insights to EMEA stakeholders. - 2-4 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations. - Strong understanding of gaming, entertainment, sports, or technology media across EMEA. - Experience working directly with journalists and managing media requests. - Excellent written English and ability to draft high-quality communications materials. - Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders. - Collaborative working style with various teams and partners.
