// Open Role at Riot Games
Shape the future of music at Riot Games across China and APAC! Lead high-impact music initiatives, build industry partnerships, and define regional music strategy for their renowned games and entertainment portfolio.
Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played video game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.
We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.
That's where you come in.
As a Music Supervision & Partnerships Lead on the Riot Games Music team, you will set Riot Games Music’s regional music strategy across China and APAC. You will bring music supervision, artist and industry partnerships, and platform strategy together to create high-impact music experiences across Riot’s games and entertainment portfolio.
You will identify where music can make the greatest difference, shape the approach early, and build the creative and industry partnerships needed to deliver it. You will lead a select portfolio of high-impact or complex initiatives from opportunity through creative development, partnership, and rollout, including delivery to relevant China/APAC music platforms.
You will work with product, publishing, marketing, esports, audio, Legal, Business Affairs, Artist Partnerships, Release Management, and global Riot Games Music teams, and bring regional player and market insight into global planning. You are a senior partner to Riot teams and a credible representative of Riot with artists, managers, labels, publishers, platforms, and other industry leaders.
You will take a senior individual contributor, not a people-management role. You will raise the quality and reach of the work through strategy, relationships, creative judgment, and influence across teams—not by becoming an approval step for every project.
You will report into the Sr Manager, Music Supervision of the team.
For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about players' experiences, this could be your role!
