About this job
As a Software Engineering Manager on VALORANT, you will lead a passionate, cross-discipline team to implement and design game assets and code for exciting existing premium content and new in-game features. You will own the technical direction for how VALORANT premium content is created and used by players, guiding engineers in their careers, and helping the team meet its product and technical goals. This role involves deep collaboration with art, design, and product management to create content players will love.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- 2+ years experience directly leading an engineering team either as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead & mentor
- 1+ years of experience with C++
- Experience collaborating across disciplines to create solutions
- 6+ years of experience (desired)
- 2+ years of C++ experience (desired)
- Experience with Unreal Engine (desired)
- Experience working with visual effects, 3D, or other artists either in games or in another industry (desired)
- Familiarity working in an agile environment (desired)
