Technical Artists at Riot blend artistic sensibility with technical problem-solving to create high-quality, performant player-facing content. As a Technical Artist II on the VALORANT Premium Content team, you will focus on implementing and supporting the systems that power premium cosmetic experiences, working closely with cross-disciplinary partners to build Blueprint-driven systems and integrate content.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Technical Artist or similar role in games or real-time engines
- Experience working in Unreal Engine, including Blueprint scripting (intermediate complexity) and basic animation system integration (Anim Graph familiarity)
- Experience implementing assets in-engine (animation, VFX, or UI elements)
- Foundational understanding of performance considerations in real-time environments
- Ability to debug and problem-solve within existing systems
- Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams
- Familiarity with scripting (Python or similar) for tools or workflows
- Basic understanding of materials or shaders in Unreal
