Principal Software Engineer - Asset Safety

- 8+ years of experience in software development - Distributed systems expertise: Experience building and shipping high-scale distributed systems to production - A “whatever-it-takes” technical mindset: the ability to jump into new domains to solve high-stakes problems - A proven track record of driving solutions to technical challenges that span multiple teams and require deep architectural expertise - Equivalent experience or a BS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field. - A Technical Leader: Initiated and facilitated challenging technical solutions, influences product direction, fosters a culture of technical excellence. - Versatile: Comfortable with several languages and technologies, adaptable, resourceful, creative and strategic in problem-solving. - User Oriented: Always starts with the needs of the user before architecting a solution. - Team Oriented: Lifts up peers and finds ways to make the team stronger.
