Roblox is looking for a Senior Product Manager to strengthen the security and integrity of our account ecosystem - with a focus on preventing account takeovers (ATOs) and building safe, seamless account recovery experiences. This role is central to protecting our users’ identities and assets while ensuring legitimate players can access and recover their accounts with confidence and minimal friction.

You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Customer Support, and the broader Trust & Safety organization to evolve Roblox’s account protection stack. Your work will combine detection precision, defense automation, and user experience design to safeguard millions of users across devices and geographies.

You’ll report into the Director of Product, Account Safety within the Trust & Safety organization.

You will:

  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for Account Security, with a focus on preventing account takeovers and improving the recovery experience for legitimate users.
  • Build and evolve detection systems that identify and block unauthorized access using behavioral, device, and network intelligence.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, ML, and Data Science teams to improve signal quality, detection precision, and model recall, minimizing false positives while maintaining strong protection.
  • Design recovery flows that help users regain access quickly and safely, balancing friction and trust.
  • Define and track core metrics such as ATO rate, recovery success rate, false positive rate, and user trust perception.

You have:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of owning and scaling account takeover detection and prevention. 
  • Proven experience with behavioral signals, device and network intelligence signals and techniques to verify user identity and prevent fraud. 
  • Led complex cross-functional efforts across Engineering, Data Science, Customer Support, and Operations teams, and can navigate ambiguity to drive execution.
  • Passion for building trusted, secure experiences for customers—balancing friction, performance, and platform safety at scale.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range
$212,970$279,160 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
