This Data Governance Expert role at Scopely's Playgami team in Barcelona involves building and running an enterprise-scale data governance program for a global data warehouse. You will influence technical teams to implement governance rules and controls, chair a globally distributed Data Governance Council, and ensure strong fluency across security, compliance, and legal aspects.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience in data governance, data management, privacy, compliance, or related areas
- Good understanding of data security and privacy concepts, such as PII handling, access control, and auditability
- Experience working with data teams to implement policies in real systems
- Ability to translate requirements into practical solutions with technical teams
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across different teams and functions
- Pragmatic mindset, you focus on solutions that work in real environments
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving needs
- Full on-site presence in the Barcelona office (5 days per week).
