Scopely is hiring a Director of Data to lead Analytics Engineering for Monopoly GO!, a global mobile game phenomenon. This role involves defining the data strategy, owning the platform, and leading a high-performing team to drive insight, experimentation, and decision-making at scale. You will shape the vision for Analytics Engineering, evolve the data platform, and ensure data is a core competitive advantage for the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing data or engineering organizations
- Deep understanding of modern data platforms (pipelines, warehouses, semantic layers)
- Strong technical judgment with the ability to influence architecture and standards at scale
- Track record of building or evolving data platforms for large-scale products
- Experience improving organizational effectiveness, processes, and team performance
- Ability to operate strategically and hands-on, connecting technical decisions to business impact
- Experience driving adoption of new paradigms (e.g., AI/ML, data products, modern data stack)
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
