The People Operations & Benefits Specialist will ensure seamless HR functions and enhance employee experience in Shanghai. This role involves managing HR operations, compliance, employee lifecycle, policy development, and data analytics. The specialist will also support the design and administration of benefits programs in China.
Requirements
- 4+ years of People Operations, HR Generalist, or related HR experience, including hands-on experience in operational HR processes
- Native-level Mandarin and professional working proficiency in English
- Ability to work independently and navigate moderately complex operational matters while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic multinational environment, preferably within a large-scale organization
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions and stakeholders
- Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills
- Hands-on experience with Workday is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with local employment practices and labor regulations is preferred
- Interest in automation and AI-driven process improvements; experience leveraging automation or AI tools in previous work is a plus
