This Senior Accounting Associate will join Scopely's fast-growing Accounting organization in Barcelona. The role involves managing monthly and quarterly lease accounting close activities, preparing reconciliations, reviewing lease contracts under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, and assisting with lease accounting software maintenance. They will also support financial statement disclosures and process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with lease accounting under ASC 842 and IFRS 16
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in general ledger accounting, or similar
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Experience in working in an international company over multiple locations
- Demonstrated history of process improvements
- Prior experience working with Oracle will be an advantage
- Excellent communications skills in English
- Excellent analytical skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and other MS packages
