- Create VFX in Unity using particle systems, shader effects, and animations
- Integrate VFX directly into features or environments, collaborating closely with Technical and Integration Artists or developers
- Align with game designers, feature owners, and art leads to create assets according to requirements and iterate based on feedback
- Maintain the consistent visual style of the game while ensuring all assets are optimized for mobile devices
- Collaborate with other art disciplines when bringing features to life, offering technical support and expertise when needed
- Communicate updates, blockers, and concerns clearly to production and leadership
- 2+ years of experience in mobile game development
- Strong proficiency in Unity, including asset importing, particle systems, animation workflows, UI/sprite/canvas systems, and material setup
- Proficiency in 2D texturing (Photoshop)
- Experience in 3D modeling (3ds Max, Maya, Blender, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile team environment
- Solid understanding of animation principles and timing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while taking ownership of tasks
