Translate in-game text, promotional material, and press releases
Create and update the SNK Brazilian Portuguese style guide and game glossaries
Proofread/edit translated text to ensure quality
Raise culturally sensitive issues for discussion within the localization team
Check implemented text in-game for context and mistranslations
Handle bug fixes
Collaborate with other companies’ developers as necessary for crossover characters and events
Requirements
Native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese
3 years of localization experience (preferably in game localization)
Business level English (TOEIC 800 and above or equivalent)
Ability to organize and multitask over multiple projects
Ability to communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders within the localization team
Experience with Confluence, Microsoft Office, or similar software
Experience with memoQ or similar translation memory software
Experience with Jira or similar bug tracking software
Nice-to-have:
Business level Japanese (JLPT level N2 and above or equivalent)
Familiarity with SNK games
Awareness of the Brazilian gaming market and culture
Ideal candidate:

Loves games and other forms of entertainment such as anime, manga, and movies
