About the role
The Social Media Community Associate, with a focus on social media, is responsible for growing and maintaining SportyBet’s social community across multiple platforms - while also reviewing and monitoring SportyBet’s network of influencers, creators, and affiliates. Hybrid position located in our Century City, Cape Town offices.

- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, etc.) and international online community culture - Solid grasp of social media trends, sports culture, and sports betting fundamentals (markets, odds, fan engagement) - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - Passion for sports, digital engagement, and community development - Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment - Strong copywriting and content creation abilities - Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail - Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and channels simultaneously - Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across teams - Experience in the sports betting, sports media, or gaming industry (preferred) - Experience working with influencers, creators, or affiliate programs (preferred) - Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio) (preferred) - Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative tools, etc.) (preferred)
