- Conduct customer interviews to validate problem areas. - Distinguish between feature requests (output) and problems to be solved (outcome). - Utilize prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE) to prioritize backlog. - Ruthlessly prioritize the backlog using data. - Write clear, concise user stories with clear success criteria. - Partner with Tech Leads and tool vendors. - Act as primary translator between leadership, customers, and engineering teams. - Communicate progress using Demos, Reviews, Presentations, and Writeups. - Work with cross-functional teams to continuously deliver value and measure success. - Participate in Agile ceremonies as the voice of the customer. - Understand and validate pain-points with customers and get to the root cause. - Manage expectations with senior leadership regarding timelines and cost. - Thrive using tools like Jira, Slack, Confluence, and Miro. - 3+ years as a Product Owner, ideally for enterprise SaaS platforms. - Experience with agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban). - Experience applying prioritization frameworks. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and APIs (SCIM Provisioning, AWS, GCP, Rest). - Ability to write simple scripts and use AI tools to generate working prototypes.
