As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the platform’s core infrastructure. As a key contributor, you will drive innovation, optimize system performance, and ensure scalability, security, and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, security, compliance, and data analytics
Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems.Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development, automation, and data processing.Experience building and maintaining APIs, working with CI/CD pipelines, and supporting infrastructure automation.Solid understanding of system performance optimization, security best practices, and regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, data privacy).Experience working with data pipelines, analytics integrations, and geolocation-based access controls.Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers and sharing engineering best practices.Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams across product, finance, compliance, and support.Hands-on experience with incident management, monitoring systems, and root cause analysis.Fluent in English.Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
