As a Software Development Manager for Commerce at Twitch, you will lead a team of engineers to design, build, and operate full-stack applications focused on growing creator revenue. You will establish a clear vision, drive results, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver features like Subscriptions, Gifting, and Hype Train. This role involves high ownership of services, architecting, building, and operating them.

Requirements

- 8+ years of software development experience; including 2+ years of people management experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Clarity of thought and articulation are critical components for success - Experience with web services, cloud infrastructure, and system design - Ability to attract, hire and retain engineering talent - Comfortable operating within an ambiguous and ever changing environment - Track record of leading teams to design, implement and operate consumer-facing applications - An impact oriented and product engineering leader mindset
