The PBI Admin is responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support of the enterprise Power BI platform.
The platform needs to remain secure, reliable, and available while supporting developers and business users with workspace administration, data connectivity, security, and operational activities.
The administrator collaborates with Azure administrators, data engineers, and BI developers to maintain the Power BI environment.

- Administer Power BI Service environment, create and manage workspaces, and configure permissions. - Maintain Power BI Tennant Settings as per governance policies. - Monitor platform availability and health, and assist with licensing administration. - Configure and maintain On-Premises Data Gateways, monitor health and performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and coordinate upgrades. - Troubleshoot connection issues for various data sources like Snowflake, Databricks, SQL Server, and SharePoint. - Review Power BI activity logs, support capacity monitoring, and escalate platform issues when required. - Support BI developers and users with platform-related issues, permissions, access, and provide guidance on best practices.
