Your role
As part of the Level Design family, The Event Scripting Designer will work closely with Level Designers to conceptualize and integrate various scripted events and cinematic scenes into the engine throughout the production process in collaboration with the animation, programming, sound, and level art groups.

BE AWARE OF THE GAME AND LEVEL DESIGN DOCUMENTS
Environments, objectives, atmospheres, story, and style to understand the overall game experience
WORK DIRECTLY WITH QUEST DESIGNERS
To conceptualize impactful narrative events and define key realization needs for compelling storytelling
UNDERSTAND INTENTIONS REGARDING CUTSCENES AND CINEMATICS
Including the associated events and narrative flow
DETERMINE FEASIBILITY OF SCRIPTED EVENTS
In line with expectations and technical constraints
INTEGRATE ANIMATED, GAMEPLAY AND INTERACTIVE OBJECTS
As well as scripted cameras in collaboration with Level Design
TEST CINEMATIC SCENES AND SCRIPTED EVENTS
To ensure proper integration without conflicts with other game elements
CONDUCT R&D ON CINEMATIC SYSTEMS WHEN NEEDED
