Unity is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to join the Engine Product team. This role involves defining product requirements with technical input, using and demonstrating the product hands-on, and defining and executing the roadmap for Unity Engine’s core technology, including scripting, CoreCLR, compilation, burst, and entities. You will define product strategy with a technical point of view, ensuring alignment with business priorities, user needs, and technical feasibility.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Unity, C#, Entities, Burst and Data oriented design (or similar systems within another engine)
- Solid understanding of how developers integrate these technologies
- Solid understanding of computer architecture, memory & cache behavior
- Prior experience in video game development working with Unity, Unreal, or proprietary game engines
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of effectively simplifying and articulating complex technical concepts
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management
- Cross-functional collaboration capabilities
- Experience in systems programming, with expertise in C++ (preferred)
- Familiarity with SIMD programming (preferred)
