As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will join Unity's Engine Product team, focusing on enhancing the user experience of the Unity engine's authoring features. This role involves defining product requirements, collaborating with engineering and stakeholders, and driving usability improvements across Unity's Editor, Hub, and other user touchpoints. You will also facilitate customer feedback loops and perform hands-on testing and demos.
Requirements
- Experience working in Unity, ideally as a game developer
- Technical expertise and the ability to evaluate complex technology stacks that cross multiple systems and platforms (i.e. game engines, cloud services, and external APIs)
- Proven experience and knowledge of UX flows, with an ability to understand and improve on how users engage with software & UI
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of effectively simplifying and articulating complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences, from engineers to executives
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
- Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management
- Cross-functional collaboration capabilities to bring teams together as we drive towards common goals and priorities
- Technical understanding of game engine architecture, feature development, and the developer experience
- Expertise in high performance programming with languages such as C# or C++
- Storytelling and visual presentation abilities to distill sophisticated topics into clear and concise communications
- Willingness to travel (up to 25% at peak times)
