This is a unique opportunity to shape a new game from the earliest concept to launch, working directly with a veteran team that values creativity, iteration, and data-informed design. 3+ years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in the game development industry. Expert proficiency with Unity and its rendering pipelines, including a deep understanding of the engine's profiler, memory management, and build processes. Expertise in creating, optimizing, and maintaining real-time Visual Effects (VFX), with a focus on performant particle systems (e.g., Shuriken, VFX Graph) and complex, stylized effects for mobile devices. Strong programming/scripting skills (C#, Python, or similar) for creating editor tools, custom art pipelines, and workflow automation. Proficiency in writing and optimizing custom shaders (using HLSL/GLSL or visual node-based editors) that achieve specific visual targets while adhering to strict mobile performance budgets. A comprehensive understanding of 3D art content creation tools (e.g., Blender, Maya) and the technical requirements for exporting assets (rigs, meshes, texture maps) into the game engine cleanly. In-depth knowledge of mobile platform constraints (iOS and Android) regarding asset size, texture compression, draw calls, and memory consumption. Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to work as a translator and collaborator between technical engineering teams and creative art teams.
