Wargaming is looking for a UI Designer to join the World of Warships project. You’ll join the team responsible for creating and evolving the game's user interface, ensuring it's engaging and comfortable for our players. If you’re passionate about game UI and want to help shape the way players interact with the game, we’d be happy to have you on board and create great experiences together.
Designs and maintains complex UI systems that support multiple gameplay mechanics, features, or interconnected product areas
Defines interaction patterns, scalable information architecture, and reusable design solutions within assigned scope
Creates and maintains comprehensive implementation documentation, UI guidelines, component usage rules, and design standards
Leads UX analysis of complex features using player feedback, research findings, analytics, and usability data
Ensures UI solutions support gameplay clarity, accessibility, engagement, retention, and overall player experience goals
Identifies usability risks, implementation constraints, and design inconsistencies and drives improvements across systems
Mentors less experienced UI designers and supports design quality through reviews, feedback, and knowledge sharing
Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to align UI solutions with product, technical, and artistic objectives
2+ years of experience designing complex, intuitive user interfaces for games or interactive products
Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and player behavior
Ability to design scalable UI systems and establish reusable patterns and standards
Experience using analytics, user research, and feedback to drive design decisions
Ability to lead discussions, resolve design challenges, and influence cross-functional decisions
Experience mentoring designers and supporting professional development of team members
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English knowledge
During the probation period: onsite work
After the probation period: onsite or hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
