As the Technical Writer & Content Lead, you will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and actionable content. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Solution Architects, Customer Success teams, and Executive Leadership to create world-class documentation and content that drives customer adoption and supports business growth.

This role combines technical writing, customer education, documentation strategy, content creation, and marketing communications.

Product Documentation

Own and maintain customer-facing product documentation.
Create user guides, administration manuals, deployment guides, API documentation, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
Build structured documentation for platform capabilities, workflows, analytics modules, simulation tools, and AI agents.
Develop onboarding content that accelerates customer adoption.
Establish documentation standards, templates, and style guides.

Customer Enablement

Create training materials, tutorials, videos, walkthroughs, and quick-start guides.
Develop customer-facing implementation and operational playbooks.
Partner with Customer Success teams to address common support questions through documentation improvements.
Create executive-level adoption guides and business value narratives.

Content Marketing & Thought Leadership

Write blogs, articles, case studies, white papers, solution briefs, and product announcements.
Collaborate with leadership to publish thought leadership content on AI, modeling and simulation, optimization, supply chain, defense technology, and decision intelligence.
Support launch campaigns for new products and capabilities.
Develop content for conferences, webinars, customer events, and trade shows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand product capabilities and roadmap priorities.
Interview subject matter experts and convert technical discussions into customer-friendly content.
Participate in product reviews and release planning activities.
Ensure documentation remains synchronized with product releases.

Knowledge Management

Build and manage internal and external knowledge repositories.
Define documentation workflows and publishing processes.
Measure content effectiveness using usage analytics and customer feedback.
5+ years of experience in technical writing, content development, product documentation, or related roles.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating software, SaaS, platform, cloud, AI, or technical product documentation.
Ability to quickly learn complex technical domains and explain them clearly.
Experience working directly with engineering and product teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, cloud platforms, or software products.
Familiarity with AI, machine learning, analytics, simulation, or enterprise software platforms.
Experience with documentation platforms such as:
Confluence
GitBook
ReadMe
Notion
SharePoint
Markdown-based documentation systems
Experience with content management systems and SEO best practices.
Experience supporting government, defense, aerospace, logistics, or enterprise customers.

You are equally comfortable writing:

An API integration guide for engineers.
A deployment guide for administrators.
A customer onboarding playbook.
A blog post explaining AI-driven decision making.
An executive briefing for senior leaders.
