MachineGames is seeking a Senior Environment Artist to create high-quality materials and visually cohesive environments for AAA titles. This role involves taking ownership of the environment art pipeline, including asset creation, modular kits, and photoreal textures, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The artist will also mentor junior team members and ensure art direction is followed.
Requirements
- Working experience with AAA titles shipped.
- Strong capability in creating textures and materials.
- Great understanding of visual hierarchy.
- Excellence in 3D art execution and building out environments with great attention to detail.
- Expert knowledge of industry standard 3D modeling, sculpting and PBR texturing packages.
- Technical understanding of AAA pipelines and performance budgets.
- Understands and can work within technical constraints.
- Interest in new workflows and technical advancements.
- Fluent in English, both in written and verbal form.
- Experience with game editors.
- Level Design skills are considered a plus.
- Photogrammetry skills are considered a plus.
- Passion for games and art!
