The Team
The Global Marketing, Sales, and Business Operations (GMSBO) division brings together a global staff with a passion for engaging gamers with PlayStation’s extraordinary intellectual property. With teams in countries across the globe, we recognize the importance of balancing local relevance with a global perspective. Across our marketing, Direct to Consumer, channel partners, and services business, we work together to bring the best of the PlayStation experience to markets and channels around the world.
As part of this division, the Executive Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) is responsible for supervising all strategic portfolio activities across the organization to ensure coordinated action and execution. The core areas of focus are product and campaign releases, organizational alignment, knowledge management, process improvement, and initiative management. Further, the team coordinates and runs project plans for division activities related to bringing products to market in both new and known capacities. In addition to leading portfolio activities, the team is also responsible for mapping division-level processes to create alignment and efficiency.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and driving strategic projects that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This role involves overseeing project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external suppliers and vendors, manage project communications, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans and schedules, including process activities.
Manage the execution of project tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all collaborators, including team members, executives, and external partners.
Regularly update project team members on project progress and address concerns.
Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders by aligning project initiatives with business priorities.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure project success.
Identify process and ways of working gaps; document problem statements and work cross-functionally to recommend and implement solutions.
Conduct data analysis to forecast project performance and identify trends.
Prepare and deliver high-level presentations and process documentation to stakeholders, project team members, and executive partners.
Track project performance against critical metrics and generate regular progress reports.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage opportunities for process optimization.
Proactively identify and leverage opportunities for process improvement and change management needs.

Strategic Facilitator: Partner with Games / Product Marketing, Studio / Product business teams, Consumer Insights, and Media teams to support alignment on campaign objectives.
Go to Market Mindset: Coordinate the work around outlining success metrics, target audiences, market priorities, revenue, engagement, pre-order and awareness goals, launch timing, and major campaign beats.
Complex Coordination: Ensure media investments, asset production, localization, partnerships, influencer activations, events, and territory marketing efforts remain aligned to and on plan.
High-Impact Focus: Manage the development of interconnected, high value campaign assets —including trailers, key art, paid media assets, localization requirements, retail materials, influencer toolkits, partnership assets, and launch content.
Integrated Team Leadership: Support integrated marketing campaigns and act as the operational leader responsible for aligning cross-functional plans with high impact strategy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Project Management, or a relevant discipline.
3-4 years experience in project management of medium - large, complex projects.
Proven capability to lead and deliver outcomes on large, multifaceted projects.
Advanced proficiency in project management tools and delivery techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by the ability to deliver engaging presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) or a comparable project management certification.
Experience in the technology or consumer electronics sector.
Experience with large scale marketing campaigns.
Experience with creative project management.
PlayStation fan a plus

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.
$65—$85 USD
