What We Need

WWE 2K is looking for a player-obsessed Associate Manager, Community to help grow and run the community program for one of the most passionate fanbases in sports gaming. Reporting to the Manager, Social Media and Community Marketing, you'll help shape what community means for WWE 2K across Discord, Reddit, YouTube, Steam, and beyond, and you'll help drive the health, growth, and sentiment of that community year over year.

You will serve as the connective tissue between our players and our teams, translating community insight into action and helping turn our roadmap into moments that give players a reason to show up, stay, and advocate. You'll be a voice of WWE 2K in community spaces and a voice of the community inside 2K.

What You Will Do

• Contribute to the annual and per-beat community strategy for WWE 2K, helping define objectives, audience priorities, KPIs, and measures of success in partnership with Marketing, Social, and Communications.
• Manage day-to-day operations of official WWE 2K community platforms, including Discord, Reddit, and Steam Community, helping set the tone, structure, and programming that make them worth belonging to.
• Build and maintain the community calendar against the franchise beat plan, for the title marketing campaign, seasonal content updates, WWE tentpole moments and more.
• Execute programs that grow retention and advocacy across the player lifecycle: onboarding new players, re-engaging lapsed ones, and deepening investment for the most loyal.
• Cultivate and recognize community advocates - creators, moderators, and superfans - through programs that reward contribution and give members a platform.
• Serve as the voice of the player internally, running a disciplined feedback loop process to capture, prioritize, and escalate community sentiment, feature requests, and rising issues to internal stakeholders.
• Support Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Quality Assurance, and Studio teams as needed by surfacing community concerns or escalations and directing players to the appropriate resolution channels.
• Own day-to-day community sentiment reporting: track engagement, sentiment, and audience trends across owned and fan-run spaces, and deliver clear, actionable recaps that inform roadmap and marketing decisions.
• Represent 2K and our development partners with good judgment in public community spaces, partnering with senior team members during high-visibility or sensitive moments.
• Help maintain community moderation standards and guidelines, and support the management of moderator programs and external vendor partners, holding them to a consistent quality bar.

Who We Believe Will Be A Great Fit

• 2–4 years of experience in community management, community strategy, or player/creator relations
• Experience helping build and execute community programs from strategy through measurement
• Strong understanding of WWE 2K or comparable live/sports game franchises, and genuine fluency in the culture and expectations of their players.
• Deep, practical knowledge of community platforms and tooling: Discord (including bots and integrations), Reddit, Steam, YouTube, Twitch
• Proficiency in the use of community management/listening platforms.
• Ability to translate community sentiment into clear recommendations that inform product, marketing, and communications decisions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to strike the right tone in celebratory, technical, and sensitive moments alike.
• Proven ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse internal stakeholders, including developers, marketers, PR, legal, and customer support.
• Comfortable with data - able to pull together analysis-based recaps and make a case with numbers as well as narrative.
• Strong EQ, composure under pressure, and a proactive approach to handling challenging situations in public forums.
• A self-starter who takes ownership, manages multiple priorities, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Passion for gaming, sports, and entertainment culture, and a real interest in WWE fandom.
• Familiarity with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, English, a related field, or equivalent experience a plus.

The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, California at the start of employment is expected to be between $81,600 and $120,780 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
