The person in this position is primarily responsible for maintaining Light & Wonder (L&W) products and equipment at customer locations. They will perform scheduled periodic maintenance and respond to assigned customer service calls. Under the supervision of the Field Service Supervisor or Lead Technicians they will also assist with Installing, programming, and troubleshooting of (L&W) products and equipment.
The ideal candidate will be located in Williston, Dickinson, or Minot

- Learn and understand L&W gaming products and operations. - Safely use common hand tools and ensure equipment is in safe working condition. - Apply safety training and wear required PPE. - Provide high quality service to customers. - Complete service calls and preventive maintenance on L&W equipment. - Install, set up, and configure L&W products and equipment. - Troubleshoot to the board or sub-assembly level using diagnostics. - Support other technicians with installations, moves, and returns. - Use Service Max to manage customer tickets, product support, and parts orders. - Keep and maintain company provided assets (phone, laptop, vehicle, tools). - Keep and track parts inventory in assigned company vehicle. - Review customer issues with management and product support. - Technical background with a basic understanding of electronics and one year electrical/electronics experience preferred. - One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. - Must be old enough to enter casino customer locations. - Must have a valid Driver’s license in the state of work. - Must be able to obtain a gaming license from various gaming agencies. - High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Military Training Schools are a plus. - Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. - Ability to read and understand service manuals and technical bulletins (including block diagrams and basic schematics). - Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, mechanics, and computer networking/network topology. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to interact with coworkers and customers in a courteous and professional manner, including problem resolution and decision making. - Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs. - Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, lie prone, hold, push, pull and lower as necessary. - Ability to safely move large machines on an appropriate cart or dolly. - Ability and willingness to travel on short notice and work “on call”. - Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
