Description
Japanese Linguistic Specialist is a language specialist that will assist in translating project related documents, communication, and actual in-game texts by localizing products and/or workflows specific to our customers in Japan. You will act as a bridge that connects Streamline Media Group with the Japan market. Using your professional English and Japanese languages abilities, you will be responsible for providing support to make Streamline’s products (services and games) appealing to the Japanese market.

Conduct translation, proofreading, and editing of in-game contents from English to Japanese. Implement translated text into games and perform LQA, including bug and language error reports. Translate and localize marketing content (e.g., commercial videos, social media). Translate other internal project documents. Provide interpreting (EN <> JA) for weekly online meetings with Japanese clients. Must have JLPT N1 or Native Japanese level. Business or above level in English (TOEIC 800+ preferred). 3+ years of working experience as an English <> Japanese translator and/or proof-reader in any industry.
